Recently the movie titled "The Secret" made its brief entry into Google Video before it was removed from there. So I thought about it a bit more.
The movie is made in a sort of a suspense mode. I figure that was done to make it into a sort of more engaging plot, type of thing. The idea of it was a bit overdone, though. For instance it is stated in the movie that the 1% of world's people, the ruling elite knew about 'the secret' through out the history and that they have kept it intentionally secret. By the way - 'the secret' refers to the so called LOA or Law Of Attraction - meaning a property of nature and creativity having to do with the like attracting like. So anyway, if everyone knew about how the LOA operates then it would only enhance everyone, not diminish - and that proves that that referred to 'elite' did not know about 'the secret' or LOA. Also - the rulers rule not because of understanding creativity, quite to the contrary - because they believe that that is the only way they can wrench what they want out of the Universe :-)
Also the new version of the movie did not have Esther Hicks featured. Rumor has it that it was due to some contractual disagreements between the Hicks and the movie producers. For those who do not know - Easter Hicks is who channels the ever popular spirit or entity called Abraham and the later is who coined the term LOA. LOA isn't really a law since it is not something regulated or constituted to be, it is just a property of being and creativity but the term is pretty snappy and so it stuck being repeated over and over.
Otherwise the movie is a good reminder that the personal thoughts entertained determine personal feelings and from there all personal experiences.
